New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, Greater New York City Area
New York University Tandon School of Engineering is one of the schools and colleges that comprise New York University (NYU). Founded in 1854, the school is the second oldest private engineering and technology school in the United States. For the 2015-2016 academic year, there were a total of 2,344 enrolled undergraduate students and 2,868 graduate students. In 2015-2016, the average combined verbal and math SAT score of incoming freshmen at the undergraduate level of Tandon School of Engineering was 1,369. Curriculum is based on an European polytechnic university model emphasizing instruction of technical arts and applied sciences.
