Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai (BNUZ) is the second campus of BNU, which is one of the oldest and most renowned universities in modern China. It was joint-established by BNUZ and Zhuhai Municipal Government under the approval of the Ministry of Education of China in 2003.
Through over a decade development, BNUZ has now 15 faculties and 56 majors, 22,000 students and over 23,000 graduates. The university has been continuously ranked as Top 3 in the New Universities Ranking of China over recent five years.
